Catching a nice redfish that tries to get away by running for the thick stuff.Our primary fish will be the Redfish (spottail bass or Red Drum). This species is an incredible sportfish as it has both speed and strength. They can live upwards of 40 years, reach close to 100 lbs, and travel hundreds of miles offshore up and down the coast. Because of these reasons, clients will never be allowed to keep/kill redfish. NO EXCEPTIONS. When the conditions are correct, we will be able to sight fish for reds in shallow water. This style of fishing is without a doubt the most exhilarating way to catch a redfish. We will also be fishing backwater areas around the Wando River, the Intercoastal Waterway, and north towards Bull’s Bay. The charter will be highly informative and you will be left with a greater understanding of fishing concepts.
