On this video....One hour from Darwin to the East Alligator River, 6 hours by 4wd to Maningrida on the mouth of the Liverpool River, then 2 hours by water to our campsite on the shores of Junction Bay. Remote and majestic, Arnhem Land is one of the largest Aboriginal Reserves in Australia, known for its art and strong traditional beliefs. You need a permit to fish here, but its well worth the red tape. Remote fishing trip videos.
Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Golden Snapper (Fingermark Bream), Giant Trevally, Estuary Cod, Northern Bluefin Tuna, Spikey Bream, Spanish Flag, Tusk Fish, Golden Trevally. 360 Barramundi and 380 other fish. Apart from a half a dozen fish for the table, the rest were released. By the way its mud crab heaven here, we scooped them up in a landing net off the flats whenever we wanted one for dinner and that was more often than not. A fillet of Mangrove Jack, Chilli Mudcrab and an Icy Cold VB, only way to finish a days fishing in Arnhem Land.

Sydney Game Fishing Club Xmas Party for The Childrens Hospital Part 1
A great day was had by one and all at the 2009 Xmas Party for The Children’s Hospital Randwick. This event has been held annually at the S.G.F.C. club house at Watson’s Bay, Sydney Harbour for 25 years now. Many Sydney Game Fishing Club members and skippers with their boats, along with local businesses and community all chipped in to make it special for the Kids. Mother Nature had a hand in proceedings as well, it was a perfect day for an hour’s cruise of the best Sydney Harbour has on offer. The look
Scott Reef (2) Sportfishing
Its never boring fishing at Scott Reef, you just never know what’s going to turn up at the back of the boat and smash a lure. Rowley Shoals (2)
Multiple hookups are the norm at Rowley Shoals, whether Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, or a mass attack including Wahoo and Dogtooth Tuna. There are some big Dogtooth at Rowleys and along with their mates the Wahoo, they managed to decimate our tackle and lures. This was expected however, I had told all our group, that whatever the feelings they had previously had towards Wahoo, I bet they’d be screaming out #@%!#! Wahoo, quite a bit out here. Interesting note about alcohol consumption on board Oceaneer, I’v
