About Dorado Adventure. We are specialist in Dorado Fly Fishing. Since 1966 we are doing it in one of the most precious areas of Argentina. This means Iberá Reservoir.
Our guides are pioneers in exploring the best places to get the best fish and they never go to the same places on the other hand they are ready to find unexplored ones to give our fishermen the best.

The Fishing
DORADO FLY FISHING
Capitá Mini Lodge - Goya, Corrientes, Argentina
We do this on clear waters the season starts in October till mid of May, these months are the best for this activity. We do this in comfortable boats only two fishermen and one guide. We leave the lodge at dawn after breakfast and start to fish in the morning till the evening when it´s getting dark, at midday we have lunch, get some rest on an island.
Fly Fishing. We only practice Fly Fishing. We guarantee between 15 to 20 strikes a day, having the oportunity of catching 10 Dorados a day.
The weight of them varies between 4 to 20 pounds. The best flies are dark colour with something bright on them. It is recommended rods of 7-8 lines ’sinking’ or ’teenyline’ 300.
Lures and Flies.’For the ultimate thrill, we used large colorful streamers when fly-casting. The dorado cooperated on them all. If you decide to go, bring plenty of lures. You won’t lose many to snags, but the jaws of a dorado can crush just about any stick bait and the teeth of the piranha will cut a Rapala in half. What a problem… fish that bite. Yeah baby! We caught numerous pintado, surubi, dorado, piranha and other exotic fish, all great fighters’.
