About Fish Reel Deal Charters
Reel Deal &Capt. Bobby Rice continue the fishing legacy of Robert Oliver. September 28, 1926 - August 24, 2008 We love you Grandpa. Captain Bobby attributes some of his best early memories of fishing to his grandfather who would take him fishing on the St. Lawrence River and in Florida. Thank you Grandpa! Reel Deal Fishing Charters was just named SECOND PLACE in BEST CAPE COD FISHING CHARTER!

 Captain Bobby Rice
Bobby Rice, a Cape Cod native and long time Truro resident, arguably has salt water running through his veins after spending the majority of his life on local waters. Now he has been commercially fishing for almost 20 years and has encountered many prosperous fishing ‘holes’ and tricks of the trade through his endless hours spent on the waters from the Billingsgate shoals to Race Point to Martha’s Vineyard.

A USCG certified captain, completing the OUPV -

The Fishing
Provincetown Banner, 9/25/2008 ’Tuna, especially the schoolies, kicked into high gear last week. Bobby Rice on Reel Deal Charters had multiple catches of fish up to 60 inches long, most over a hundred pounds. Drifting live bait was the trick for the tuna, and his customers went crazy when suddenly the bait would leap out of the water, followed by an aggressive hit by the tuna!’

While our specialty is STRIPED BASS and BLUES, we also fish for TUNA, CODFISH, and FLUKE.
We tend to follow the general rules of thumb:
Stripers - June and September (for bigger fish), July and August (for lots of fish)
Blues - July and August Cod - Early Spring and Late Fall Tuna - Late Summer and Early Fall
