Los Roques - World Class Fly Fishing Paradise in Venezuela
Los Roques - A Flyfishing Paradise Venezuela. The star in Los Roques is the bonefish, found in large quantities and considerable sizes (from 4 to 10 pounds). It is a world-class destination for bonefishing in its own right. Although Los Roques is considered a mainline bonefish destination, you will encounter other species - tarpon, permit and jacks - as well all year round. About Us Founded in 1999 by Daniel Beilinson and Antonio Lynch, FlyFishingCaribe aimed at organizing fishing trips to the Mexican Caribbean. Due to the great success of these trips, the company has widened its offer by including new destinations, such as North Argentina and Patagonia, Chile, Brazil, Cuba, Bahamas, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Venezuela, Russia and in the next future Canada.
South Andross Since men have fished for bonefish, Andros has been a name synonymous with the biggest fish, and South Andros has built a reputation over the years as being the location to try for a ’giant’. Names like Grassy Creek, Deep Creek, Little Creek, the Water Cays and Curley Cut Cays are intrinsically linked to sight fishing for some of the world’s largest bonefish. Bair’s Lodge fishes primarily for bonefish with occasional tarpon and permit.
Placencia, South Belize Another of our many destinations. Belize is a well-known destination by both saltwater fly fishermen and divers. Its main claim to fame is that it has the longest barrier reef in the western hemisphere, and second in the world only to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Although there is good bonefish and tarpon fishing, Belize´s star is the permit, one of the most difficult species to catch on the fly.
The Fishing

Gardens of the Queen,Cuba.
Situated on the Caribbean, the Gardens of the Queen consist of a vast area with countless islands, reefs, beaches and flats forming a large archipelago of about 200 km long. Over 400 km separate Habana from Jucaro, the harbor with access to the fishing areas. All the sport-fishing species abound in the Gardens of the Queen: bonefish, permit, tarpon, snook, jack Crevalle, barracuda, snapper, etc.
Amazonas Peacock Bass , Brazil.
The Amazon Basin is the world’s largest freshwater river system. It contains 10 percent of the world’s fresh water and without question 20% of the world’s toughest freshwater gamefish.
Manaus is the Amazonas hub for peacock bass fishermen traveling to the Amazon. The river we fish, small clear water tributary of the Amazon perfectly suited for peacock bass , runs through the reserve is crystal clear with a white sand bottom.
Guatemala´s billfish productivity is literally unbeatable. With numbers like 124 releases in a single day, by one boat and 300 releases in 3 days on conventional tackle or how about 57 in a single day fly fishing and an overall annual release rate of a dozen billfish per day, per boat, it´s clear that Guatemala´s Pacific coast offers the highest concentrations of billfish found anywhere worldwide. Sailfish are abundant year round.
