Belturbet Trout Angling Association. The Association has been in existence for 28 years. There is now a membership of over a hundred with members from as far a field as Belfast, Dublin, Midlands and all places in between as well as a strong local membership. Visitors are welcome with boats available for hire and a wheelie boat for disabled fishermen. Artificial fly fishing only by rod and line from boats supplied by the club. Day tickets and boats available from Ian Elliott at house at entrance to lake. The club waters are situated on the scenic stretch of water between Kilconny Bridge and the Railway Bridge within the town of Belturbet. Artificial fly fishing only for brown trout allowed. Reel Fishy is a business developed by avid angler Martin Connolly who has been working in video production for the past five years. The idea for an on-line angling directory came about while on a fishing holiday with long standing friend Philip McGarrity in Guatemala, Central America. While in Guatemala they met with a group of American anglers who were fascinated with everything Irish. They wanted to know everything about Irish angling.

Geary’s Angling Services operate a 33ft fast ’Lochin 33’ fitted with the latest safety and navigational aids. ’John Boy’ is fully licenced and insured and can cater for groups of up to 10 anglers. Skipper Donie Geary welcomes beginners and has a range of tackle and equipment for hire. Tuition is free and family outings for mackerel fishing and evening party bookings are welcome. Bella Vista Angling Charters operate from the Bella Vista Hotel in Cobh, Co Cork. Cobh is just 30 minutes from Cork airport and Bella Vista Angling Charters can arrange airport pick up. Bella Vista Angling Charters have a fleet of well maintained and fully equipped warrior boats. Excellent fishing can be had just 5 minutes form the Jetty. Life jackets are supplied and tackle hire is also available.
 
Based in Carrickmacross, South County Monaghan and just one hour from both Dublin and Belfast, Gate Lodge Angling is run by local, qualified and registered Pike Guide Mal McLeod. Mal provides a professional guiding service on the many pike lakes all within a 10 minute drive from the town centre. Gate lodge angling has the facilities to cater for up to 10 anglers. Mal provides boat hire, engines, rods, reels and an abundance of tackle including dead bait. Life jackets come as standard when hire.
