The beach at the mouth on the other hand has delivered some of the largest GT’s caught in recent years. There is also a rocky reef that appears at low tide. Dropshotting around the fish traps makes for some good fishing. Trawling on the lakes with lures and poppers also attracts the attention of Pick Handel barracuda, kingy’s and Rock salmon. Banga nek: Banga nek is a beach adjacent to the 3rd lake. This is a lovely beach for the family to spend some time on while daddy does some rock &surf fishing. Dog point: Dog point is a beach with a rocky little bay. During hi tide this bay provides some good opportunities for drop shot and fly fishing.
