Our Boat - The MV Pure Indulgence As the name suggests our 35” Bertram MV Pure Indulgence has got it all!. We’ve recently spent an extra $100,000 to ensure she has all the bells and whistles. The boat is powered by twin Volvo 250hp TAM D60’s with a cruising speed of 18knts and a range of up to 600 nautical miles, is fully air-conditioned and can accommodate up to 6 anglers with heaps of room to spare. We supply the anglers with a comprehensive range of Shimano big game tackle.
Complete Packages Get a group of 2-4 anglers together who have an adventurous spirit and want to fish the boundaries of locations available. With Pure Indulgence having a range of more than 500 nauticle miles we offer 2-4 day trips to rarely fished sea mounts, canyons bommies, banks and coral reefs and atolls. 2008 Samoa International Tournament Report
This years SIGFA tournament was a tremendous success.
28 boats (8 from NZ) carrying 150 anglers from 4 nations (Aust, NZ, USA, Samoa) fished a hard fought contest over the 5 days. Plenty of quality fish were weighed and a record number of Blue Marlin Tagged and Released. Once again the people of Samoa opened their arms to anglers and their families and everyone had a fantastic time.
Tongan Adventure
Pure Indulgence recently completed a live-aboard adventure to the Tongan islands of Tafahi and Niuatoputapu. Troppo Fishing Adventures were chartered by Swiss TV to help in the filming of a documntary about Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novel Treasure Island.
Not only did the team manage to get spectacular footage of the entire journey, but also the fishing was excellent, with Marlin and Sailfish being tagged and released.
Pascoe Banks Adventure
Recently we took Grant Dixon, editor of New Zealand Fishing News to the Pascoe Banks 120 Miles Northwest of Savii. These banks rise from an ocean depth of 3000 metres to 7 metres and have an area the size of Upolu. They are untouched, not fished commercially. We had a ball catching great fish.
