The Fishing
Sharks: If its Sharks that haunt your dreams look no further because we have a lot of them in the Everglades. Because of the abundance of food (prey) and warm water temperatures sharks have long considered the Everglades to be their domain. Often times they feel the need to prove it by unexpectedly attacking anglers fish while reeling them in from the brown murky water. Generally the species of Sharks we will encounter are Bull Sharks, Hammer Head Sharks, Lemon Sharks, and Black Tip Sharks!

BackcountrySnook: Most Snook caught here in the Everglades are very aggressive and often times will jump out of the water trying to spit the lure or fly. Flyfishing for Snook in the Everglades can be one of the most rewarding Fly Fishing experiences of your life. From October to May it is not uncommon to catch 30+ snook on fly. The Everglades is also a great place to learn how to flyfish. As an angler you will have many shots so if you mess up there is always another fish to improve on.

Everglades Tarpon: Tarpon are found here in the Everglades all year long. During the months of March-July the larger fish can be found in great numbers traveling in large schools in the backcountry. These fish are generally 60-150 Pounds and very eager to eat just about anything in its path. During the end of summer and into the winter we generally turn our attention to the far remote backcountry in search for juvenile tarpon. These fish are normally found from 6-40 inches.
