His interest in sea fishing has now taken him to the northern Norway where he has been fishing for the last 15 years. In the last three seasons he’s fished 240 days, mainly chasing halibut. His best halibut is a 67in monster the goal is the 80in, of course Catch n Release.

The Fishing
TROMSO. We have been remarkably successful while fishing the waters around Tromsö last year. The waters here are very sheltered and on some days it is almost like fishing on a small lake. In total we tagged and released around 20 halibut in excess of 100 lb during four weeks of fishing. We invest in fishing gear of the highest quality suitable for the relevant fishing situations and the client experience. The equipment we use, such as rods, reels and lines are always thoroughly tested by the guide first so we know we can rely on them. We always use the best stuff that’s out there, reels from ABU, Shimano and Accurate. Rods are from BFT, ABU as well as custom-made ones.
