Northwoods Fishing/Outdoor Report 3-23-09
Late season ice fishing producing good results for crappie, bluegills and perch in the Eagle River, Wisconsin area. Walleye, and northern season remains OPEN on many waters in the
Wausau/Central Wisconsin area. Open water fishing for walleye (below the dams) is good, with ice fishing producing a consistent bite for walleye and northern, and excellent action for crappies, bluegills and perch.

With temperatures warming, fishing action has turned “hot” in the Wausau/Central Wisconsin area, both for late season ice-fishing and open

March is one of the best months of the year in which to catch one of these giant “fresh water g
