We provide a variety of saltwater fishing boats with price ranges to fit all budgets and group sizes. San Carlos visitors may book a smaller fishing boat at a reasonable cost for their family for a fun day on the water, while experienced sportsmen can have a top-notch deep sea fishing boat and crew for big game fishing. All fishing boats are fully equipped with top of the line Shimano fishing tackle &safety gear.

The Fishing
Catch-22 Sport Fishing Adventures operates year round with Yellowtail fishing and bottom fishing during the winter season and Dorado, Tuna, Sailfish and Marlin in the spring, summer and fall. <br><br>
The Name. In 1970, Paramount Pictures selected a location on Algodones Beach, outside the little fishing village of San Carlos for the filming of the movie, Catch 22. Based on the book by Joseph Heller and featuring an all-star cast, the movie was a smash comedy hit. Today, the movie set and it’s runway are still visible and the beach is more widely known by it’s nickname, Catch 22 Beach. When Steve purchased his Luhrs 34, he named her Catch-22. Catch-22 - Our flagship is a 32 foot Luhrs Convertible. She is very fast with twin Volvo diesels and is fully equipped with modern electronics, outriggers, fighting chair, enclosed head, a large live well and new Shimano TLD and Tiagra series reels in sizes from 25 to 80. We use Dulcecita lures that are proven fish catchers, as well as other top-of-the-line artificial baits. Live bait and frozen ballyhoo are available at a slight additional cost.
Catch-22 ’Pez Vela’ (The Sailfish) - This is our most popular sport fisher. The Pez Vela is a 26 ft. Grady-White, powered by Volvo diesel, and offers both comfort and affordability. This boat is fully-equipped with Shimano TLD series reels, GPS, fishfinder, outriggers, fixed fighting chair, an enclosed head and lots of shade. We use Dulcecita lures that are proven fish catchers, as well as other top-of-the-line lures.
