Terrace BC Fishing Report

 

Hi Noel, fishing is great right now on the Skeena River. Water is in perfect shape. It is possible now to catch Steelhead, Coho and Pink on the same day. WOW. Lots of fun!

Guess what, we found them!!! Photos attached are of a 100 pounder. We had double headers, you name it, we saw it happen. The weather has been incredible. All I can say Is Whoooaaa can’t wait to do that again...

Hello Noel, well, Chinook are at a close. Sockeye are pretty much done also as both are in full spawn mode. Steelhead & Coho fishing has been and is very good right now. Coho fishing will be picking up soon as more and more are coming into the

river. Fishers are doing very well in the main stream Skeena and in a couple of weeks rivers like the Lakelse will be Hot! (Hopefully).

 

The Lakelse River is teaming with Pink Salmon right now. It’s fun for the kids to get out there and catch Pinks as they are an easy catch for the kids and a ton of fun. My kids Aaron & Brianna spent two days just hauling them in one after another with just a simple pink Rooster Tail lure and a spin rod.
