Cabo Fishing Report July 19

July 19 Cabo summer fishing is in full swing. We are seeing great water temps and loads of Yellowfin Tuna. Dorado numbers are a bit off due to the lack of Mackerel, however this creates a situation with less competition for other species, such as Jacks, Yellowtail, and Rooster. Best bet right now is a multi-day trip chasin a big Black or Blue Marlin, once she is released go dive into the plentiful action on light tackle!!

July 14 Blue Marlin still holding in good numbers. Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna are still the main action. Best bite is still on the Gordo Bank in late afternoon. A completely out of season run of big California Yellowtail have been hanging around Lands end between the Arch and the lighthouse bank on the Pacific side. Drifting with small and medium sized live baits have been keeping the sushi guys rolling all over town!!
