Visit The Reel Saltwater Outdoors radio show, which broadcasts Monday through Friday at 7:25 am on FM107.5 and AM1530 WENG.  The show is hosted by Capt. Chris O'Neill and Capt. Ryan Rowan.

 

 

The show is a "locals" favorite providing real time fishing reports, conservation tips, seasonal guidelines and tide predictions from Sarasota to Ft. Myers.  Chris and Ryan report relevant data from their daily charters along with input from other seasoned guides and sponsors.  Anglers that do not have the opportunity to be on the water daily find this information very useful when it's their chance to go fishing.  Chris and Ryan's unique perspective is a huge advantage for our listeners. The SW Florida geographical broadcast area exceeds over 500,000 potential listeners per day.  WENG is knows as "The Information Station". Spearheaded by General Manager Ken Birdsong, the station is home to nationally syndicated broadcasters like Sean Hannity, Micheal Savage and Dave Ramsey.

 

 

The show was developed during a fishing outing a few years ago. Far too many times you read a report that is several weeks or a month old. This information is likely irrelevant in shallow water or bay fishing. "The fish move from estuary to estuary continually". It really helps to be on the water every day and be on top of the fish. "We are excited about the opportunity for our listeners to get the information that they need and to provide a target audience for our sponsors."
