The Terrebonne and Timbalier Estuaries have a reputation for catching literally boat loads of trout. When the action is hot it can not be beat!
Equipment. Blazer Bay-Yamaha. The boats are top of the line 2420 Blazer Bay Boats powered by reliable Yamaha outboards. The boats are equipped with the top of the line Lowrance GPS/Sonar, VHF Radio, mobile phone, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and a 101 lb Minn Kota trolling motor. The boat is always kept clean and very roomy. The rods are custom Guide Select from Okuma and are fitted with Okuma Epixor EB30 and Fina30 spinning reels.All equipment is kept in top working condition.
CHARTER TRIPS. Louisiana Fishing at its Best. Morning-Evening Trips/Half Day. Morning-Evening Trips are half day trips usually lasting 4-5 hours. We can accommodate up to 4 anglers including children. All rod and reels are supplied along with all tackle and artificial lures. These trips are perfect for guest in town visiting family and friends or for the business person looking to make an introductory trip out into our beautiful wetlands.
Day Charters. Day charters are the ideal way to experience a great fishing experience along the Louisiana Coast. These trips start at safe light and usually last for 8-hrs. We can accommodate up to four anglers per boat including children. All rod and reels are supplied along with all tackle and artificial lures. All equipment is kept in top working condition and the boat is clean and free of clutter. We at Stringer Fishing beleive in using top quality equipment and fishing from a clean boat.

Interior Marsh-Bay-Coastal-Barrier Islands
Fishing the vast Terrebonne-Timbalier estuaries of Louisiana allows for many types of inshore fishing opportunites. These include topwater, live-baiting, spoons, spinners, plastics, or flies while targeting the marsh, bay, surf of the barrier islands and numerous oil structures. Depending on the time of year and weather conditions any of the above is possible on any given day. Most trips will depart from Bayou Bait and Tackle in Cocodrie.
