The Fishing
One thing is for sure, we do catch a lot of Yellowfin Tuna, but Venice has a lot more to offer than just tuna. We often catch beautiful grouper down deep or huge Amberjack that will make your arms tired the next day! The snapper we catch are world class and the wahoo often go into triple digits! In the summer time, the Mahi Mahi and Marlin move in to the grass lines and these fish really know how to put on a show! No matter what you are in the mood for, Venice has you covered.

I get great pleasure out of watching my customers catch the fish of a lifetime. Lucky for the captains in Venice, we have a wide variety of fish that we are able to target. The Captain
I am Captain Josh Howard. At the age of 26, I have a lot to be thankful for. I get to live a life that most people only dream of. I operate an offshore charter boat out of Venice, Louisiana. I know that I am not the oldest and most experienced captain on the water, but I can promise you that no other captain loves it more than I do! I understand that the love for the sport does not help you catch fish, so I will let the pictures speak for me.
