Obsessionis conveniently located at the Catamaran Marina, Falmouth, on the south coast of Antigua. Falmouth is a center for sailing and fishing boats, particularly in the winter months, and fishing starts right outside the colorful harbour in the DEEP blue waters south and east of the island. What’s biting and when? Blue Marlin from May to October, White Marlin from January to April, Yellowfin Tuna are all year round, Blackfin Tuna are all year round, Wahoo are all year round with the best months being March to October, Dolpinfish from May to November and Kingfish are May to July. If you want to target specific fish, these are the months where they are they are biting. However, we find that all species are available year-round, but in smaller numbers. Obsession wins Tournament. 5 Marlins released. The Antigua &Barbuda Sportfishing Club held its 40th Annual Sportfishing Tournament during the Whitweekend. 31 boats from the USA, St.Thomas(USVI), St.Maarten/St.Martin, St.Barths, Martinique and Antigua participated in the 3 day event. ’Obsession’ released 4 Blue Marlins and 1 White Marlin and was awarded the prices for CHAMPION BOAT/MARLIN DIVISION,CHAMPION ANGLER and MOST RELEASES.

Obsession Sportfishing
Obsession started fishing in 1991 with Captain Biel at the helm. Capt Derek is a Certified IGFA Captain, which means he has taken and passed a qualifications test and been referred by other qualified captains. It assures you get an experienced captain for your fishing adventure. Prior to 1991, Derek fished with ’Red’ Bailey and ’Spike’ Herbert in St. Thomas. He has fished many tournaments in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Maarten,Nevis,St.Lucius
