Blue Water Kayak Trips. Offshore/bluewater kayak trips. We like to call it EXTREME KAYAKING. For these trips we will ’Mother Ship’ two to four Kayaks to the deep blue where the kayaks will be deployed for a day of fun fighting big fish.<br>Imagine leisurely paddling around a rip line or large grass patch sight casting to large Mahi Mahi, cobia, tripletail or any of the creatures that call these floating reefs home. Hook up to a large dolphin for the ultimate fight of man and beast.
At some times of the year, we will trailer our Heritage Redfish Angler Kayaks to locations that enable us to use the tides and wind to access marsh ponds otherwise unreachable by conventional water craft. When the speckled trout move off the beaches, we will take you there to experience an enhanced version of wade fishing, where you will learn stealthly kayak drifting techniques that will enable you to stay with the school of trout. May 1, 2009 Beyond the Breakers in Grand Isle Daylight is beginning to show off to the east. I’ve got fifty live shrimp from Bridgeside swimming in my live well. A Zara Spook is tied on my bait caster and a big smile is plastered on my face. The gulf is smooth with only a small ground swell washing up onto the rock piles off the beach near the middle of the island. A speck just took aim on a small shrimp twenty feet off my bow, the summer trout season has officially begun.
The sun has climbed out of the gulf and the gulls are soaring overhead looking for breakfast. I retire the top water and pick up a spinning rod with a popping cork. Grab a shrimp and begin easing down the rock piles. The trout respond immediately and within an hour I am heading home with the smile still plastered to my face. Trout season is here, enjoy.Summer is the best time to own a kayak; and summer is knocking on the door. The relentless winds of this spring will soon be a distant memory.

Our Kayaks
Our 2008 Heritage Redfish Series Kayaks and 2008 Native Water Craft Ultimate Kayaks are equipped with everything you’ll need to enjoy a unique angling experience. Our standard equipment includes a bow or stern mounted anchor or mud anchor, a seat with back rest, a graphite double paddle, a Coast Guard approved floatation device, an aerated portable live bait bucket (if you prefer live bait), and fishing gear.You are welcome to bring your own rods
