Other topics include learning how to know where the fish stays, the movements of insects on and in the water as well as the steps in a correct drill and an efficient landing. Individual Guiding provides personal coaching. The company of Hurch Flyfishing and their partners has managed to lease several high quality sections of rivers in the last few years. That they are on the right way is shown by a good stock of natural born and grown up fish, especially if you look at our brown trout and grayling. This is also because of our regulations, that nobody is allowed to take and keep brown trout and grayling, which is an important protection for the natural stock.

Taimen on a Fly. In cooperation with our partner Hurch Fly Fishing also this season we are able to offer flyfishing for the biggest and most treasured member of the salmon family, the Taimen. The river Mur in Knittelfeld/Steiermark is one of the best taimen waters of Europe. After a lot of new regulations and lots of work in the past, the population of trout and grayling was increasing and that is why also the population of Taimen is incredible now.
To keep up the exclusiveness of this part of the Mur and to gurantee nice catches also for future, we try to keep the number of fishermen low and it is only allowed to fish with flies. Moreover fishing for taimen is only allowed in accompaniment with your Pro-Guide, who will take care on you and help you as much as he can to become succesful.
